5. Coffee beans
Do you drink coffee? If so, get used to spreading the remains of coffee used in the garden and around your home. Like cinnamon, coffee remains can be used both indoors and outdoors to repel ants. Spread through the entry points to prevent the ants from entering your home, and outside into the ant colony directly.
Ants are repelled by the smell of soil; and by the way, so are cats. This makes them a great pest control. Since coffee erasures are full of minerals, such as potassium, phosphorus and magnesium, they are also excellent for the soil of your garden.
