4. Chalk
Spray some chalk powder on areas that are entry points for ants or draw a chalk line in front of where the ants are entering your home. It will act as a barrier they will not cross. Refresh your chalk line periodically to keep it running.
Some people think it’s because ants don’t like calcium carbonate in chalk. Others think it’s because the chalk line interrupts their odor traces. Whatever the reason, it seems to work. Try it and see for yourself.
