6. Pepper
Ants are very sugar-friendly but hate pepper. Spray pepper in the areas where ants enter your home. This will help get rid of ants. Cayenne pepper or black pepper are hated by ants. You can also make a pepper and water solution, to spray it near the inlet areas.
Pepper won’t kill ants, but it will definitely deter them from coming home. Be sure to clean the area where you want to spray the pepper.
