A little brother
Katie may have been somewhat reluctant in making this decision, as she wasn’t planning on adopting another child, although she also couldn’t sit back and think about leaving the baby alone while she cared for his siblings.
She felt it was the right thing to do to bring the child home and begin the adoption process. It didn’t take Katie long to fall in love with him either. Katie named the boy Jackson and although she knew she wasn’t ready, she felt he would be the perfect addition to her happy family.
