Does the heat make your head hurt and your feet cramp? These ways to help you feel better

If your headache has come on while you are in the sun, it could be sunstroke. This too is usually relieved when you retire to cool shade to rest and drink fluids. A hat with a cap or brim is a good way to prevent sunstroke.

Weakening? Drink more than water

Your body’s salt content will start to get diluted if you drink nothing but water day after day in the heat. And that’s where the weakness comes in. So drink a juice, mineral water or even milk from time to time.

Alcohol, coffee and tea are not recommended as hot drinks because they increase urine output and can make dehydration even worse.

Just a few slices of pickle will help.
