
3. Reduces soreness
According to a study, people who performed elbow exercises, consumed 2 grams of ginger for 11 days, reported that their muscle pain was significantly reduced. In other words, ginger helps reduce pain that stems from soreness.

4. Lowers blood sugar levels
In a study conducted in 2015, 41 participants who had type 2 diabetes had a 12% reduction in fasting blood sugar after consuming 2 grams of ginger per day. While this is still uncharted territory and more studies need to be conducted to prove the effectiveness of ginger in fighting diabetes, the preliminary results are amazing and we hope that further studies will help us better understand how ginger helps fight diabetes.
