There are few people who don’t like bananas. They are full of vitamins, trace elements, nutritious, and if that wasn’t enough, bananas are delicious and sweet. The banana is also an ingredient in many healthy foods. In fact, it is often used for cosmetic purposes by those who want to feel the good effects of bananas on their skin.
But what about the banana peel? It usually ends up in the trash, right? However, there are many uses for banana peel that you may have never thought of.
Here are 8 of them:
(Note: If you make a food or drink out of a banana peel, always make sure it’s organic and comes from a place where no chemicals are used).
1. Grilled chicken wrapper
Grilled chicken is very tasty and healthy, but if you want to make it even healthier, take the skin off. This leaves the meat unprotected from heat and fire and can easily dry out. If you cover the chicken with a banana skin, you will protect the meat from drying out. The banana peel will essentially act as a skin.

2. Natural flypaper
Then comes summer in the spring, which is the best time for a garden party. We all love them except for one little annoyance: flies. To catch them, you can make a trap from natural ingredients. All you need is a large yoghurt cup, a banana peel, a hammer and a nail. Use the hammer and nail to poke holes in the bottom of the yogurt cup, insert the banana, turn it over and place it near the food you are trying to protect. The flies will get the sweet smell in the holes, but they won’t get out of the yogurt cup.
