3. Carrots
You’ve probably been told many times to eat carrots because they improve your eyesight, but the benefits of carrots go much further. They are packed with vitamins, including beta-carotene. This beta carotene is actually responsible for the orange color of carrots. It helps your skin so much because the skin is one of the organs in which it is metabolized. Beta carotene supplementation has also been found to protect against sunburn.

4. Eggs
Eggs contain vitamin D, which is not found much in other foods. This promotes healthy skin and bones. Although the sun, which often shines generously, is a good source of this vitamin, many people are vitamin D deficient, especially the elderly. Vitamin D deficiency can cause skin diseases such as ichthyosis, skin cancer and psoriasis. Skin disorders such as vitiligo, scleroderma and blisters can also result from insufficient vitamin D. Therefore, it is highly advisable to eat eggs for healthy looking skin.
