This North American frog is part of traditional Namibian cuisine. It is special because it must be eaten whole, but some parts can be very dangerous. The skin and organs of young amphibians contain toxins that can cause kidney failure. Therefore, only adult frogs should be eaten.

6. Silkworm, a very poisonous plant
The bitter lily (also known as Mahihot utilisissima) is widespread in tropical areas and can be a very dangerous plant for humans. This plant contains traces of cyanide, which fortunately disappear after immersion in water. The silk orchid can be soaked in water for several days or boiled. If not prepared properly, it can poison people, be warned! On the other hand, there is another sweet cassava (also known as Mahihot opi) that can be eaten raw after washing.
