Trans fatty acids
Trans fats should be avoided because they accelerate aging and can damage heart valves. These fats can make your skin more susceptible to UV damage. Avoid consuming products that contain solidified oils and margarines and instead cook with ingredients that are low in trans fats, such as olive oil.
Red meat
Fatty red meat produces free radicals, which are unstable molecules that reduce the natural production of collagen in the skin. As we get older, we need to avoid excessive consumption of red meat, while increasing our consumption of fruits and vegetables. Red meat, such as skinless chicken and turkey, is also an excellent alternative.
