Avocados
Don’t waste the delicious and creamy flesh of an avocado by peeling it the wrong way. Take advantage of its nutrient-rich interior with this simple trick. Cut the avocado in half and scoop out the whole inside with a spoon. If you like, cut it into quarters and then you can remove the skin with your fingers.

Onions
To quickly get rid of the top layer of the onion, cut off the top end. Then cut it in half to quickly peel off the outer layer. To protect your eyes from watering, some people recommend lighting candles near the cutting board, slicing the onion under a hood, or even covering your nose and mouth with a sheet. Whatever you do, don’t rub your eyes because you’re just rubbing the juice from your fingers into them.
