What will happen to my body if I eat moldy food?

Spoiled food comes to mind
You’d expect to see an increased incidence of mould on food. After all, most people associate them with spoiled food. It’s a good idea to check whether your food is perishable, semi-perishable or non-perishable. It’s a good way to see if it’s still fit to eat after a certain amount of time.

The difference between the two
Durable foods include fish, milk, fruit, meat and some vegetables. If they are not stored properly, they spoil quickly. On the other hand, we have perishable items such as carrots, eggs, onions, beans and potatoes. If stored in a cool, dry place, they can be eaten for several weeks. Finally, we have non-perishable items such as cereals and nuts that can be stored longer.
