5. Brookstreet Hotel
The Brookstreet Hotel is home to The Marshes Golf Course, an 18-hole course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and Robert Trent Jones Sr., and Marchwood Golf Course, a nine-hole PGA course. Both courses feature picturesque scenery with lush landscaping and serene lakes; The Marshes Golf Course is a qualified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary for wildlife. There’s also the Blackbird Falls Putting Course, an 18-hole, par-42 course available to players of all ages.
6. Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu
The Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu Golf Club’s historic course – U.S. President William H. Taft was present when the course opened in 1925 – offers 27 holes, plus a clubhouse with a restaurant, a pro shop and putting and chipping greens. Guests can enjoy views of the St. Lawrence River from the course. Green fees are not covered by room rates, but two golf packages are offered.
