7. Corregidor Island
Corregidor Island is a stronghold of joint forces of Filipino and American soldiers in World War II defending the entrance of Manila Bay from the Japanese invaders. Today it is a historic monument which the big artilleries and the structures tell its story of heroism and bravery of Filipinos. Pico de Loro also called as “Parrot’s Peak”, is one of the amazing natural attractions in Cavite where its stands like a firm stone tower. This is a luring destination in Cavite to mountain climbers which the peak is considered as the highest point of Cavite. Climbing its steep slope is not easy especially to the new mountain climbers.
