7. Check if you have angina symptoms. Angina occurs when the coronary arteries become stiff and narrowed. Symptoms include dull or compressive chest pain accompanied by a feeling of heaviness in the area, which can radiate to the left arm, neck, jaw or back for several minutes. Usually, the pain occurs when the person is active or under stress. If you experience chest or left arm pain during exercise, you should consult your doctor.

8. Perform stretching exercises. Slowly and deliberately stretch the painful area. Do not make sudden movements or go beyond the limits. Hold each stretch for 20 or 30 seconds, then repeat as needed.
You can stretch your triceps by raising your hand above your head and bending one of your elbows. Hold the wrist of the bent arm with the other hand and pull it back. Repeat with the other arm.
With both hands together, stretch the elbows and stretch the biceps. Lean forward and bring your hands together.
You can stretch the shoulder of one hand above the chest while holding the forearm with the other hand. Gently pull it towards the back of the shoulder. Repeat the exercise to the other side.
To stretch your wrists, cross your hands to form a cross. Press down on the top with your hand to bend the wrist. Repeat with the other hand.
