7 things that happen if you eat mango every day

4. You may be at risk of salmonella
Eating mangoes every day increases the risk of eating mangoes contaminated with salmonella. Salmonella is often found in mangoes because it mixes with the water used to wash the fruit during processing.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates that salmonella is responsible for approximately 1.2 million cases of salmonellosis in the U.S. each year. This results in approximately 23,000 hospitalizations and 450 deaths.
Salmonella is usually found in the processing stage, but research shows that whole mangoes are just as risky as sliced mangoes, even if they have undergone less processing.
The bacterium, which is found in washing water, coats the skin of the mango and then enters the flesh. The bacteria cannot be destroyed by any washing by the consumer at that time.

5. Very little of the beneficial substances are extracted from the mango in the form of juice.
Although mango contains a lot of sugar, it also has good fibre which prevents the blood sugar level from rising. When drinking mango juice, all this healthy fibre is eliminated. Despite the popularity of juice diets, studies show that they are not good for you.
Lack of fiber can cause constipation, weight gain, fatigue, blood sugar fluctuations and nausea. And if your daily mango is in juice form, it puts you at risk for diabetes in a way that whole mangoes don’t, even with the same amount of sugar.
